Plans and limits

Memory, processor, storage and fair use.

Starter and Business sites run on shared servers, each in its own isolated space with the resources below. A site cannot use more than its plan; if it tries, it is slowed down (processor) or restarted (memory).

Every plan includes HTTPS, nightly encrypted backups kept for 14 days, and one domain of your own. Fair use applies: see the acceptable use policy.

Private servers

A private virtual server that no other customer’s sites run on, managed by us. It runs on our provider’s hardware, which other virtual servers also share. Order one under Private server in the console:

We confirm the order and have the server ready within about two working days; billing starts when it is ready. Sites you create after that run on it with no charge of their own; each site’s plan still sets how much of the server it may use. Sites you already had stay on the shared servers unless you ask us to move them.
