Domains and HTTPS
Pointing your own domain at your site.
Every site gets a free address, <name>.sites.dapply.solutions, with HTTPS from the moment it is live. You can add one domain of your own per site.
Point your domain at us
Add the domain when creating the site, then at the company you bought it from (your DNS provider) create these A records for it:
| Type | Name | Value |
|---|---|---|
| A | your domain, e.g. www | 207.244.242.83 |
| A | your domain, e.g. www | 207.244.233.226 |
Remove any other A or AAAA records for that same name, or some visitors will be sent elsewhere.
HTTPS for your domain
We get a free certificate for your domain automatically, within a few minutes of its records pointing at us. DNS changes can take up to a few hours to spread. The site’s page shows when it is connected.
www or not
Each site has one domain of its own. Choose the one you want people to use, usually www.example.com. To send example.com to it, use your DNS provider’s redirect (often called forwarding).
