Getting started

From a new account to a live site.

Dapply Solutions runs websites and web apps for you: WordPress, or any container image, each with its own MySQL database if it needs one, free HTTPS and nightly off-site backups. You manage everything from the console.

1. Create an account

Sign up with your name and email. We check every new account before it can deploy, usually within one working day.

2. Create a site

In the console choose New site, give it a name (it becomes <name>.sites.dapply.solutions), and pick what it runs:

• WordPress: ready to install in your browser. See WordPress.
• Your own container: any image that serves a website over HTTP. See Containers.

Choose whether it needs a database, add your own domain if you have one, and pick a plan and monthly or yearly billing.

3. Pay and watch it go live

If you are new to us, your first site launches once its first invoice is paid: pay by card on the site’s page, and it goes live about two minutes later. After your first payment, new sites launch straight away and are added to your invoice.

The site’s page shows each step (saved, setting up, starting, HTTPS) and updates by itself. Most sites are live in two or three minutes. If something goes wrong, the page says what and how to fix it; see Deploys and troubleshooting.

4. Invoices

The first invoice covers the rest of the month you start in; after that you get one invoice at the start of each month. Pay by card under Billing. See Billing.
