Acceptable use policy
Last updated: 27 October 2026
This policy is part of our terms of service. It applies to everything hosted on Dapply Solutions and everything sent from it, by you or by anyone using your site.
Not allowed
- Anything unlawful in South Africa or where you operate, including fraud, scams and selling illegal goods or services.
- Malware, phishing, spam and bulk email, or hosting pages for them.
- Attacks on other systems: scanning, brute-forcing, denial of service, or running botnets.
- Cryptocurrency mining, and other work that keeps the processor busy rather than serving a website.
- Open proxies, VPN or Tor exit services, and file-sharing, mirror or backup storage that is not part of your website.
- Content that infringes copyright or trademarks, or that you do not have the right to publish.
- Child sexual abuse material, content that incites violence or hatred, or that harasses or threatens others.
- Collecting personal information without a lawful basis under POPIA, or without telling people.
- Reselling the service, or trying to get around plan limits, billing, suspensions or our security.
Fair use
Plans are sized for ordinary websites and web applications. A site that keeps using much more processing time, memory, storage or traffic than others on its plan, or that slows the service for other customers, may be limited, and we will ask you to move it to a bigger plan or reduce its use.
What we do
We may remove content, limit or pause a site, or suspend or close an account that breaks this policy, without notice where needed to protect others or where the law requires. Where we can, we tell you what is wrong and how to put it right.
Reporting abuse
To report a site hosted with us, contact us using the details on our contact page, with the address of the site and what is wrong.
